The Olympia Tumwater Foundation honors both the history and future of Thurston County through its commitment to a wide range of community projects including student scholarships, historic preservation, and stewardship of Tumwater Falls Park

The Olympia Tumwater Foundation education programs have awarded over $1.7 million in scholarships and grants to hundreds of talented and deserving students. Scholarships are offered on the basis of both achievement and need to Thurston County residents attending college within the state of Washington. OTF also awards grants to local school districts and early childhood programs for innovative classroom projects.

2014 scholarship recipients Megan Kramer and Emma Baldwin recently stopped by the Foundation office to say hi and give an update on their educational endeavors at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. Megan is studying civil engineering and rowing crew while Emma is working towards a business degree and involved in horse riding. Both are getting good grades and enjoying the collegiate experience.
